R&D Internship

I worked in the research and development lab at Schluter Systems. I developed and implemented improvements to a large-scale compression testing machine developed by our team. I also worked on a variety of product testing projects throughout my time. This consisted both of developing test based on industry standards and preforming these tests. I also assisted with and observed other tests conducted by other members of the team.

Schluter systems is a family company started in 1975 in Germany. They produce tile profiles, waterproofing, underlayment material, and many similar building products. Their North American headquarters, where I worked at the R&D lab, are located in Plattsburgh, NY.
